Rowing is a nature-connected water sport that combines strength and endurance with team spirit and dynamics – on river and lake almost all year round. From primary-school age to old age and for every fitness level: thanks to the very low risk of injury, rowing is also ideal for health, rehabilitation and switching off. With us you sit in everything from a single to an eight – alone, in a pair or as a team, with the skyline of Mainhattan in view.

Touring & recreational rowing
Extended tours and day trips on the Main and beyond – at your own pace, alone or together.
Casting off together, turning your back on the city and experiencing the Main from a perspective you never get from the bank – that's what touring and recreational rowing is about. Sometimes a relaxed after-work outing, sometimes a day tour, sometimes a weekend on the water.
Our boathouse is the perfect base for it. And almost incidentally you train endurance and technique without it feeling like training – more like time out.

Racing & regatta
Competition from local to Olympic level – for everyone who wants to train regularly and measure themselves.
Rowing is one of the most tradition-rich and successful German competitive sports – and Frankfurt was one of the cradles of inland rowing. Throughout the year, regattas take place from the regional level to the international stage.
Anyone who wants to compete will find training, boats and fellow rowers with us. Racing rowing shapes not only the body but also discipline, mental strength and determination – qualities that carry far beyond the boat.

Health & adaptive rowing
Rowing works almost all muscle groups gently and strengthens the heart and circulation – also as adaptive rowing.
Rowing is one of the few sports that work almost all the major muscle groups – and gently, with a very low risk of injury. It trains endurance, coordination, heart and circulation all at once, which makes it superb for prevention and rehabilitation.
Combined with the calming effect of water and nature, rowing does body and mind good. As adaptive rowing, the sport is also open to people with disabilities.
