Ocean Sports are water sports that are mostly at home on the sea or originated there – and that we train in the middle of Frankfurt on the Main. We build the basics and endurance on the Main and complement that with training camps on the coast. Our athletes compete nationally and internationally.

Stand-up paddling (SUP)
The easy way in: paddle standing up across the Main – balance, calm and a great view.
With stand-up paddling – SUP for short – you stand on the board and paddle across the water on your feet. It gives you a wonderful overview and is probably the easiest entry into water sports: after a short familiarisation you're already moving across the Main on your own.
Surf instructors in Hawaii originally used the technique in the 1950s to keep a better eye on their pupils. In Frankfurt, SUP has enjoyed growing popularity since 2011. And it's more than just relaxing: the constant balancing trains the deep muscles from foot to head, strengthens the core and posture – a joint-friendly full-body workout that feels like leisure. With us you paddle SUP as part of the Tuesday canoe training.
