Commitment to our rowing youth: badge of honour of the DRV for Jutta Brüggemann

The award recognises outstanding youth-mentoring achievements, focused mainly on grassroots and recreational sport and on general youth work. The award is given to youth mentors for outstanding achievements.

Jutta Brüggemann has rendered particular service to the youth sport of the German Rowing Association. For her enduring, profound and utterly selfless commitment over the past 17 years, she was awarded the German Rowing Association's distinction for youth mentors.

Jutta was presented with this honour – the DRV certificate and badge, accompanied by our grateful words and a beautiful bouquet of flowers – at our last annual general meeting on 26 April 2022.

We thank Jutta very much for building up, and for the many years of mentoring and supporting our active rowing youth, in exchange and collegial harmony with our committed mentoring team. She always provides her support as an equal and with great patience. She's a role model for us all, and we look forward to many more years of her commitment and her calm, kind manner.
